Delivery is to the agreed Gardermoen terminal. Onward freight is arranged by the customer or their forwarder unless otherwise agreed in writing. Freight to the Terminal is shown as a separate item in the offer and the Order Confirmation and is included in the total price, unless the Order Confirmation states otherwise.
We only accept payment in Norwegian kroner (NOK).
Delivery and responsibility
The quotation and order confirmation specify the terminal, delivery time, unloading, receipt and when risk passes to the customer. Delivery must be confirmed for each order.
VAT and import charges
Norwegian VAT is specified in the sales documents. Export zero-rating applies only when the legal and documentation requirements are met. Destination-country duties and import taxes are not included unless expressly agreed.
Documents
State the final country, receiver/importer and known import and document requirements. Document needs and export roles are clarified per order; using a forwarder does not automatically approve export.
Delivery and onward freight
For a load smaller than a full trailer, freight may still be calculated for a whole transport trailer. Freight to the Terminal is shown as a separate item in the offer and the Order Confirmation and is included in the total price, unless the Order Confirmation states otherwise.
Packing and temperature
Salmon is supplied gutted with head on, packed in polystyrene boxes. Box type, labelling and any Høvding logo are agreed per order; supplier boxes may be used.
Insurance
Cargo insurance is not automatically included. Responsibility for arranging insurance, the coverage period and any confirmed cover are agreed in writing per order.
Questions and answers
Who is the exporter?
The customer is the exporter and declarant, or lets a Norwegian forwarder or agent act as exporter. Høvding does not act as exporter or declarant.
How do we pay?
The customer pays the full total price in advance in NOK. We place the order with our supplier only after payment has been received.
